I'm planning to visit Tasmania for a month or so probably starting the last week in January (its flexible ) and am seriously considering homestay accommodation. I am an easy going male looking for a quietist home environment to base my trekking holiday from (I'll be travelling with a backpack!). I like the idea of a 'family / home' environment as I live in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK and often accommodate long term 'lodgers' who have local 6 monthly work contracts and are happy to share my home. I tend to make decisions on how I 'feel' about things, rather than too many facts, so this description is simply an opening gambit to dialogue with anyone out their who might be interested in talking some more !
